Rigid Construction

Die Steifigkeit eines Wings ist ausschlaggebend für seine Leistung. Der MOJO ist mit zwei separaten Free Flow Ventilen an Strut und Leading Edge ausgestattet um den perfekten Druck im Bladder zu halten. Die Durchmesser sind so gewählt, dass ein Wegknicken der Grundform und des Profils verhindert wird und die maximale Performance jederzeit abrufbar ist.

Balanced Center of Gravity

Die Grundform des MOJO’s erzeugt den Auftriebsschwerpunkt weiter vorne als bei vergleichbaren Produkten und lässt ihn nur minimal wandern. Die Druck-/Kraftverteilung ist auch bei starker Veränderung der Griffposition oder des Anstellwinkels immer homogen. Der stetige Vortrieb wird vom Wing erzeugt und muss nicht vom Hydrofoil generiert werden. Du profitierst durch effizientes An-/Depowern und der sehr guten Höhelaufleistung.

Self-stabilizing Drift

Die V-Form des MOJO’s unterstützt seine Flugstabilität, die Roll-Achse reguliert sich von selbst. Die Kontrolle während des Abreitens einer Welle bzw. das Driften wird zum Genuß.

Viewing Windows

Die UV-beständigen Klarsichtfenster geben dir jederzeit den Überblick auf die Umgebung. Wir empfehlen das Knicken der Fenster beim Einpacken zu vermeiden.

Non-Slip Handles

Die Griffe sind durch Rippen segmentiert und haben eine ovale Form. Sie erhöhen den Grip, verhindern das Verrutschen der Hände und geben dir die bestmögliche Kontrolle über den Wing.

Profile Support

Die Tuchwand zwischen Strut und Obersegel reguliert die Spannung im Segel. Die Kraft geht beim Anpumpen nicht verloren und wird in Vortrieb umgewandelt. Der Profile Support dient auch als Leitwerk zur Selbststabilisation im Schwebezustand.

Extra Handles

Die spezielle Griffposition ist für kraftarmes Fahren im Starkwind entwickelt worden. Das Greifen der Extra Handles reduziert den Druck an den Armen und der Wing kann leichter überkopf geführt werden. Zusätzlich empfehlen wir den Einsatz der Griffe bei Halse und Wende.

Kann ich ein Trapez mit dem MOJO verwenden?

An der Strut befinden sich Anknüpfpunkte zur Befestigung der Verbindung zum Trapez. Ein Seil kann am Trapezhaken fixiert werden um den Wing kräftesparend zu fahren. Wir empfehlen den Gebrauch ab einer fortgeschrittenen Könnenstufe und nur im Flachwasser.

Wie trockne ich den Wing am besten?

Um das Trocknen des Wings zu beschleunigen, lege ihn aufgepumpt bei wenig Sonneneinstrahlung in den leichten Wind. Vermeide das Schlagen bzw. Flattern im Wind und vergewissere dich, dass der Wing gesichert ist. Achte darauf, dass die Bereiche unterhalb der Griffe trocken sind!

Muss der Wing nach Gebrauch mit Süßwasser gespült werden?

Spüle den Wing bei Einsatz im Salzwasser von Zeit zu Zeit mit klarem Wasser und trockne ihn im Schatten. Verwende außer klarem Wasser jedoch keine Reinigungsmittel. Eventuelle Garantieansprüche entfallen beim Einsatz von Reinigungsmitteln.

Wie empfindlich sind die Fenster des MOJOs?

Wir verwenden ein sehr robustes und beständiges PVC-Material, welches aus dem Zeltbau stammt. Dennoch sollte häufiges Knicken/Falten und der Einsatz in Temperaturen unter -5 ° C vermieden werden.

Wie soll ich meinen Wing für längere Zeit lagern?

Wir empfehlen eine trockene Lagerung bei Plusgraden. Das Falten des Wings sollte beim Einlagern vermieden werden. Falls das Falten/Knicken notwendig ist, dann empfehlen wir regelmäßiges Auslegen des Wings während der Lagerzeit.

Rigid Construction

A wing’s stiffness is crucial to its performance. The MOJO’s two free-flow valves, on the strut and leading-edge, keep the air chambers more rigid because separate. The diameters are tuned so the shape and profile do not buckle, and maximum performance can be called up at any time. There is also no hose to accidentally pull on to ruin a session and cause an emergency.

Balanced Center of Gravity

The basic shape of the MOJO pins the center of pressure (lift) further forward and moves minimally compared to other products. The pressure/force distribution is always homogeneous, even if the handle position or the angle of attack change significantly. Constant traction is generated by the wing, sparing the legs from having to transfer power to the hydrofoil. The wing powers/depowers very effectively and runs effortlessly upwind.

Self-stabilizing Drift

The V-shape of the MOJO provides positive lateral stability, eliminating rolling effect. It makes wave riding a real pleasure.

Viewing Windows

The UV-resistant transparent windows always provide visibility of the surroundings. We recommend avoiding kinking the windows when packing.

Profile Support

The fabric wall between the strut and the upper sail regulates the tension in the sail. The power is not lost when pumping and is converted into propulsion. The profile support works like a tail unit for self-stabilization in the hover state.

Can I use a harness with the MOJO?

The strut features attachment points to link the rider to the trapezoid with a harness line/rope. The harness line/rope can be hooked to the harness to drive the wing with less effort. Recommended for advanced riders, only in shallow water.

How do I speed up the drying of my wing?

To speed up passive drying of the wing, place it inflated in light wind where there is little sunlight, on a dry surface. Avoid it hitting or flapping in the wind and make sure it is secured.

Do I have to rinse the wing with clear water after every use?

Rinse your wing from time to time with clear water, after using it in saltwater, and leave it to dry in the shade. Do not use any detergents. Detergent use on the cloth voids the warranty.

How durable are the windows on the MOJO?

We use a very robust and durable PVC material, which comes from large tent construction. However, frequent kinking/folding and use in temperatures below -5 °C or 23 °F should be avoided.

How should I store my wing for a long time?

We recommend dry storage at plus degrees. Folding the wing should be avoided when storing. If folding/kinking is necessary, we recommend laying out the wing regularly during storage.
