WOOD-FOAM CORE

Alle Radical5 besitzen einen Hybridkern, der auf maximale Harmonie zwischen Boardgewicht, Performance und Haltbarkeit abzielt. Auf der Zehenseite kommt zur Gewichtsreduzierung ein Schaumkern zum Einsatz. Auf der stärker belasteten Fersenkante gewährleistet ein robuster Holzkern die Bruchstabilität und die dynamischen Rückstellkräfte im Rumpf.

TORSION FIBRE LAYERS

Die innovative Anordnung einer unidirektionalen Gewebelage in Längsrichtung und einer zusätzlichen Gewebelage im 45-Grad-Winkel erreicht merklich höhere Rückstellkräfte, was sich in gesteigerten Sprungleistungen widerspiegelt. Trotzdem ist der Flex des Boards so harmonisch abgestimmt, dass Komfort und Laufruhe nicht negativ beeinflusst werden.

IMPROVED ROCKER

Um das Board auf rauer, offener See noch laufruhiger zu machen, und bei schnellen Landungen z.B. nach Kiteloops Einspitzeln effektiv zu vermeiden, haben wir die Rockerkurve leicht erhöht. Die Gesamtabstimmung ist dabei noch wie vom Radical gewohnt auf der leistungsorientierten Seite, für gutes Angleiten und Höhenlaufen.

HEELSIDE CHANNEL

Der tiefe Heelside Channel liefert bei plan gestelltem Board gute Führung und ermöglicht ein noch effektiveres Setzen der Kante zum Absprung. Der Heelside Channel generiert zusätzlichen Griff beim Absprung.

TUCKED UNDER EDGE RAILS

Die „tucked-under“ Kante wurde im 45-Grad-Winkel nach unten in das Board gezogen, wie es auch bei Surfboards Tradition ist. Dies macht das Board gut kontrollierbar, auch bei stark kabbeligen Bedingungen.

ADDITIONAL GRABRAILS

Die Additional Grabrails sind zwar absolut weich, bieten aber bei Board offs oder One footer beste Kontrolle. Der Griff zum Board wird damit erheblich leichter. Die Grabrails können einfach auf das Deck geklebt werden.

CLICK'N'RIDE FIN SYSTEM

Das innovative Schnellverschlusssystem ermöglicht eine sekundenschnelle Demontage der Finnen an den Tips. Ob zum Verreisen oder zur Schonung von Auto oder restlichem Equipment beim Transport, dieses System wird das Kite-Leben leichter machen.

SCRATCHPROOF TOPSHEET

Um die Langlebigkeit nochmals zu verbessern sind unsere Boards mit einer speziellen hochqualitativen kratzfesten UV Beschichtung ausgestattet. Das Board-Design ist unterhalb dieser Lage zusätzlich geschützt, um bei leichten Kratzern keinen Schaden zu nehmen.

Die asymmetrisch rundere und kürzere Toeside Outline verbessert die Kontrolle beim Toeside fahren und bietet mehr Komfort.

Das Radical5 liefert Power genau dann, wenn du sie brauchst. Erlebe ein neues Fahrgefühl mit neu angepasster Rockerkurve und verbessertem Flex. Mehr Kontrolle, bessere Führung, explosiver Pop und weniger Spritzwasser sind das Resultat. Das leichte Gewicht gegenüber Vollholzkern, welche durch die Kombination aus Paulownia Holz und Airex erreicht wird, ist perfekt für jeden der ein leichtes Board für Airstyle sucht. Das Radical5 wird durch Features wie den Heelside Channel, asymmetrischen Shape und das neue Click’n’Ride Finnensystem komplettiert.

 

Space’n’Galaxy Pad-Strap-Combo

Die Space-Pads – mit sehr guten Dämpfungseigenschaften für sanfte Landungen – sowie die hochwertigen Galaxy-Straps – für perfekten Halt – runden das Radical5 ab. Die Straps lassen sich an beiden Seiten verstellen und sind verwendbar von ungefähr EUR-Schuhgröße 39 (barfuß) bis etwa Größe 48 (mit Neoprenschuhen). Breitere Insertpositionen ermöglichen noch einfachere Landungen. Es sind drei unterschiedliche Stance Optionen möglich – Small (50.4 cm), Normal (56.2 cm) und Wide (61.2 cm).

WOOD-FOAM CORE

All RADICAL5’s have a hybrid core, achieving perfect harmony of board weight, performance and durability. A foam core is used on the toe-side in the longitudinal direction, providing a significant reduction in board weight. In the heel-side that is under more force and load, a robust wood core is used. Guaranteeing dynamic recovery force of the board, while retaining huge amounts of strength.

TORSION FIBRE LAYERS

The innovative assembly of a unidirectional woven layer lengthwise and an additional woven layer (torsion layer) at a 45-degree-angle achieves considerably higher torsion stiffness, which is reflected in increased jumping performance while remaining great comfort.

IMPROVED ROCKER

The new rocker curve provides smooth riding even in the toughest conditions, and gives more control in fast landings, after kiteloops or unhooked moves. The central part of the rockerline remains flat, retaining very early gliding and effortless upwind performance.

HEELSIDE CHANNEL

The deep heel-side channel provides good grip, and makes it possible to set your edge more effectively before jumping.

The RADICAL5 board edge has been cut off at a 45-degree-angle, the same as how surfboards have been manufactured traditionally. This makes the board very controllable, even in choppy conditions and reduces spray.

The additional grabrails are very soft, but still offer the best control for board-offs and one-footers. Thus, holding the board in the air has become easier then ever. The grabrails can easily be glued to the deck.

This innovative quick release fin system allows for fin disassembly in seconds. Whether for traveling or just to protect your car and other equipment during transport, this system will make your kite life easier.

SCRATCHPROOF TOPSHEET

All of our boards have a special high-quality UV and scratch-resistant coating, thus offering a long product life. The graphic design is protected under the coating, so that it does not get damaged if the board is slightly scratched.

Space’n’Galaxy Pad-Strap-Combo

The new and improved Space Pads, with more grip and very good damping characteristics for soft landing combined with our high grade Galaxy Straps, which allow for a perfect fit and hold, round off the RADICAL5 package. These straps can be adjusted on both sides and can be used from shoe size EU 39 (barefoot) to about size EU 48 (with neoprene shoes).
