FLYSURFER has won a number of titles with the SONIC RACE in the past months, such as World Champion Twintip:Racing, European Kite Buggy Championship, 3rd place in the Hydrofoil World Championship and World Champion Snowkite Race. In addition to the many successes at the national and international levels, the SONIC RACE was probably one of the best-selling race kites in 2017; not only because its convincing radical power, but also because of its effortless performance handling.
Now the outstanding performance and innovative design of the SONIC RACE has earned it the honor of being labeled, by an international jury, the WINNER of the ISPO Award in the water sports category. Every year, the leading international sports business network ISPO evaluates the most exceptional sporting goods, which are then judged by independent experts. The deciding factor for the award was in the new concept of a unique 3-level bridle design which delivers drastically reduced air resistance. This, in combination with the lightweight construction made of X-Light cloth, improves the aerodynamic efficiency greatly.
Competition is the test bed for the latest FLYSURFER materials and technologies. The developments behind the SONIC RACE will of course be incorporated by FLYSURFER into new kite generations.
